I work at Handleman. It has been interesting to watch the serious decline of the major record industry. This company boomed in the 90's, and in the past three years, their stock has went from $20/share to $0.17/share. There were more CDs returned after Christmas than were sold during the season, which is pretty amazing. The environment here is pretty sad, but everyone saw it coming.

I thought something like this was gonna happen, but I can't believe it happened this soon.

The irony of this whole situation is that Wal-Mart(Handleman) was one of the major players that destroyed CD pricing and then the entire business suffered (Tower, Musicland etc.) and now its tailspin. It serves them right! They made their beds now sleep in them. How much time do you give Anderson??
