It's not actually a good advert for either - the sad truth is that even if you think Lydon is interesting some thirty years after the circus moved on, the advert itself is a clunker; he comes across like a local television presenter who has been asked to appear in pantomime and can't decide if he's playing it straight or doing it in character.
