What exactly is the $10,000 paying for? Does Apple assign you a programmer to handle the complicated task of playing music and video while displaying a PDF?

Seriously, I don't know why this can't be more like the App store (and require a whole lot less technical expertise). Let us do it ourselves, and if it's up to spec, just put online.

This story is a couple days late. In TODAYS news, Apple says there is no fee and will be opening up iTunes LP to others soon.
