Tunecore Names A Chief Marketing Officer
Lise Barbanti has been named Chief Marketing Officer for TuneCore.com. She is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience developing and implementing marketing strategies and programs to achieve market share, revenue and sales objectives.
Barbanti was previously Chief Marketing Officer for Frontier Communications, a $2 billion Telecommunications provider of voice, internet and television services to consumer and business customers. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Marketing with Virgin Mobile USA.
EMI Music Publishing Promotes Platt & McCarroll
EMI Music Publishing has promoted Big Jon Platt to President of North American Creative. In this new role, he will oversee EMI Music Publishing’s creative team.
Platt, as President of West Coast Creative and Urban, already heads a team representing songwriters who have topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart for 60 of the last 62 weeks. In this new role, he will be responsible for co-ordination of EMI Music Publishing's A&R efforts across all genres and geographies.
EMI Music Publishing is also promoting Dan McCarroll, who leads EMI Music Publishing's East Coast A&R operations, to a new position as EVP of North American Creative.
