Gang Of Four To Fan Fund Album Via Pledge Music

The recent rise, fall and rise again of Sellaband has left many supporters of the fan funding concept a bit edgy.  But that hasn't stopped veteran UK rockers Gang Of Four from turning to Pledge Music to help fund the release of a new album.

The Gang is offering a plethora of incentives from signed albums to broken guitars and a custom mix in exchange for a fan's pledge. With choices from £8 all the way up to £1,500,  the campaign feels more like a Topspin inspired pre-sale than a request for fan funding. Either way, 45 fans have signed up so far, and the band has 56 days left to raise the other 96% of the money they're hoping for.
