Flat fee digital music distributor TuneCore has announced the addition of iLike, Mog, Tesco, iMesh and 10+ more stores via digital media services provider MediaNet, to its growing list of outlets. Additionally, they will also host and serve a MediaNet/TuneCore co-branded landing page that is linked prominently via MediaNet.

  1. A necessary step to keep up with Reverb Nation’s offering. Only problem is that Tune Core charges you for each store, so this will continue to add to the cost of using them, while Reverb and Zimbalam package their bundles at flat discount prices.
But this is an understandable and necessary reaction to competitors. With this they will almost catch back up.

  2. This is excellent news as MediaNet powers WaTunes social platform. We are very excited to be able to offer TuneCore content to WaTunes users and we’re excited to provide more offerings in the new future.
    Definitely check us out.

  3. HI Charley
Just an FYI – it’s $47 flat rate to distribute an album with as many songs as you like to as many stores as you like
A customer also has the option to go al-la-carte if they prefer
TuneCore has direct deals with all the digital stores it works with – others do not. In addition, with many of the digital stores, the payout rates are higher.
