GigsWiz: Facebook Application Released

GigsWiz has released a Facebook Application. Through it fans can make concert requests in Facebook for the bands and artists who are registered users of the GigsWiz platform. The application lets fans share their requests within their own friend network, which helps the bands increase their viral spread in social media. 

Gigwiz released a widget with similar capabilities earlier this year. Unlike Eventful and similar apps and sites that gather fan requests, data gathered using GigsWiz is not posted publicly, but rather is for the band and their team's private use.
