Hugh MacLeod: “Treat It Like An Adventure.”

Cartoonist and author Hugh MacLeod, known most famously for his drawings on the back of business-cards, wry insights, and sometimes cynical humor, posted a short mantra that I found interesting. It's not very complex, but for many artists, entrenched in their various creative endeavors, I felt like it rang true. The everyday isn't always that inspirational and doesn't come with instructions, nor the needed motivations to pursue your passions. But, if you are chasing something special, whether its a new album or writing a book, MacLeod's assertion is rather telling:

It’s just about the closest you can get to God while you’re still alive." Is your album an adventure? Read More.
