inger/songwriter Kristin Hersh has teamed up with The Friday Project to release her a unique music/book collaboration. Crooked, the book, will contain full color artwork, lyrics and an exclusive essay by Kristin about each song on the album. Each copy comes with a digital code, which unlocks online content.
This includes the full Crooked album; recording stems for remixing; track-by-track audio commentary; and a fan form. The full content will only be available to those who buy the book; it's an imaginative way to re-instill life into the waning album format. And, like previous reports; the combo is a great, innovative way for Hersh to connect with her fans and give them a reason to buy.
