On the Brown departure, the company said in a statement: "Paul is leaving Spotify at the end of the summer to join a start up outside of the music space. We would like to thank him for all his great work and wish him the very best in his future endeavours." Brown will reportedly remain a consultant for Topspin, as well as, take a new position at a yet unnamed startup.
