Creative Commons Wants You To Be A Superhero

image from creativecommons.org Creative Commons wants you to become a superhero. Mostly, to donate some money and become a part of their cause. But doing so will make you feel like one of the Fantastic Four. Especially once you get your hands on your very own limited-edition, skylight flaunting CC superhero t-shirt, among other perks. They're looking to raise $550,000 by the end of the year in an effort to give their current and future projects an extra boost.

"As a superhero, your role will be to donate, spread the word, and fundraise on our behalf," reads the website copy. I'm not completely adept to the entire argument for or against what CC stands for, but I do believe it's a good cause.

From what I understand, I'm for and not against. The way they've set up the donation structure is quite intuitive too, giving tiered incentives for increased levels of participation and even going as far as letting donators contribute in monthly increments rather than of the full-payment amounts.
