Barry Weiss, Doug Morris, Rolf Schmidt-Holtz And A Game Of Musical Chairs At Sony & Universal

We also know that he top candidate to succeed him, Barry Weiss, current CEO of Sony's RCA Jive, is leaving to join Universal Music. We don't know what job he'll will be doing there, but we do know that he'll be based in NYC. And here's the most interesting twist:

Weiss' former bosses at Sony are said to be very close to bringing in former Universal Music Group CEO Doug Morris, who was supposedly in semi-retirement, to fill exiting Sony CEO Rolf Schmidt-Holtz's slot, sources have told The New York Post.

 And if true, we would know why Weiss just jumped ship Universal.
