Hype Machine Adds Fast Forward
Keeping up with new music in even a few blogs can be very time consuming. To make it easier, music blog indexer The Hype Machine has just added Fast Forward – a feature that lets users jump through songs while still reading the blogs where the music has been posted.
Still in early beta, "Fast Forward is like a spinning radio dial across radio stations curated by music bloggers," according to Hype Machine. For registered users, the favorites added via Fast Forward won’t be auto-posted to Twitter or scrobbled to Last.fm, if you have that enabled on the Hype Machine.
We'd love your opinion: Is it fair to judge a song in seconds?
Like the idea. I’d love it if I could view the blogs by region they tend to cover. I like to find out what’s out in the Northeast that different from the South, etc.
Anybody know of any regional charts, etc.?
Interesting. Could you explain the difference between this service and shuffler.fm? I’d like to understand better
