EXCLUSIVE: Paris and San Francisco based Fanrank, developer of a Facebook application that rewards fans for spreading the word has raised $320,000 in angel financing. "Fanrank helps gamify the experience of being a fan,” according Jeff Marois, Fanrank’s CEO. The funds will be used to accelerate product and business development.
Since beta launch in May 2011, Fanrank.me has been installed on the Facebook Fanpages of 3000+ brands, television shows, films, celebrities and musicans. Together, Fanpages that have installed Fanrank have over 75M fans and The app has grown to approximately 350,000 monthly active users according to independent Facebook monitoring firm AppData.
