Updated List Of 150 Indie Labels Devastate By London Warehouse Fire plus Video

image from www.celebrityaccess.com (UPDATED) A Sony Music warehouse in north London, which served as the distribution center for many independent labels, was destroyed by fire during the riots there. The warehouse contained the stock of more than 150 labels distributed by PIAS, the UK's largest wholesaler of independent music.  Here is BBC video captures the fire and we share an updated list of the labels devastated by the blaze.

    1. these are all insured goods. What blow are you talking about? As far as i know when they got money from the insurance they can even demand the money from sony as all the goods have been sold. win win case here…
      buy you can always buy digital download… it’s better anyway…

    2. IF Insurance covers the goods, it doesn’t cover shipping costs to the UK nor 100% of the item value and replacement cost. If you lost 500 albums that were pressed in a batch of 5,000, you cannot replace them at the same price without pressing another 5,000. Labels will take a loss.
