UPDATE: 12 of 16 Music Services Are Live On Facebook

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced 16 music partners on September 22nd ranging from almost-unheard-of to the incredibly popular. Of those, 7 have completed their integration with Facebook, meaning that they can automatically send users’ listening activity to their friends’ Facebook tickers and Music sections, and to their own Facebook Timelines. Here’s the full list in both categories:

- NEW: Rhapsody remastered its music service with Facebook, Twitter, and playable profiles, and bought Napster.
- Earbits streaming radio takes ‘pay to play’ to the next level.
- iHeartRadio is one of Evolver.fm’s best AirPlay-enabled apps.
- Jelli lets listeners control FM radio.
- Slacker Radio (review)
- Songza offers ‘mixtape’ sharing for iPhone, Android, the web.
- Spotify finally launched in the U.S. – here’s why it’s different.
- MOG turns free social music into a game.
Announced
- SoundCloud, which is sort of like YouTube for audio, added record buttons to its apps and powers Outloud.fm among other apps. It was designed to “fix [one of] the web’s broken things.”
- TuneIn Radio is one of Evolver.fm’s top AirPlay-enabled apps.
- Turntable.fm, which took ‘social music’ past the buzzword, has received extensive coverage since then.
- Vevo, which hosts many of the major label videos on YouTube, is one big reason thatYouTube believes free music can pay as much as paid music.
