Rhapsody CEO Irwin On Why They Bought Napster [VIDEO]

image from www.google.com Rhapsody has 800,000 subscribers and Napster reportedly half that many, so the combined companies certainly creates a digital music subscription powerhouse.  But boosting subscriber numbers to compete with Spotify is not the only reason that Rhapsody bought Napster, according to CEO John Irwin.  WATCH THE VIDEO INTERVIEW:

  1. Ha. Irwin is very stiff and seems like a pretty mean dude. Would hate to work for him. And by the way rhapsody is missing some KEY artists like beatles, led zeppelin, and they are losing artists NOT gaining. Take the fist outta your @rse irwin.
