So much of what I’ve heard so far today has been said before and was about the the top 10% or less of the industry. I respect FMC, but hope that changes in the next hours.
Ticketing fees and secondary ticketing, for example, are huge issues. But direct to fans outfits like Topspin (who just sold out a Pixies theatre show with no ads direct to fans) or ticket platforms like Eventbrite (who offer any bands a ticketing option at about 90cents + 2.5% credit card fee) were not mentioned and already offer alternatives for the other 90% of the industry.
I think there may be something wrong with the stream. It has been nothing but a rotating series of ads. Right now should be the Keynote.
