Talent agency Paradigm has struck a deal to create a strategic partnership with one of the leading electronic music agencies, AM Only.

The agreement will allow Paradigm to continue to bolster their already solid roster in regards to electronic artists who've become a very hot commodity in recent years.

The deal will also provide AM Only artists access to Paradigm’s resources and representation in the media world, particularly in the advertising spectrum including music, television, motion pictures, theatre, publishing, branding, commercials and endorsements.

AM Only's roster includes a who's who of electronic music artists, such as Davud Guetta, Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Donald Glaude, Carl Cox and Martin Solveig among numerous others.

AM Only will continue to operate from their current offices in Brookyln, New York under the AM Only banner.

Eletronic dance music or EDM seemed poised to be the ‘next big thing’ in the latter half of the 1990s, but faded into the background, with Eminem famously saying, "Nobody listens to techno." However, in recent years, EDM has made a huge come back, with artists such as Deadmau5 and Fatboy Slim playing to standing room only crowds at major venues while festivals such as the Electric Daisy events have also proven immensely popular with music fans, leading to an increased interest and awareness of EDM artists.

"I feel an affinity for the entrepreneurial spirit that Paradigm embodies," said Paul Morris, CEO of AM Only. "Our clients operate within one of the hottest and fastest growing areas of music and we wanted a partner who had the knowledge and resources to help us take our clients’ careers to even greater levels of success. The reputations and track records of the Paradigm music executives and its chairman, Sam Gores, impressed me and made clear that they would be outstanding partners in this task."

"We’re delighted to be joining forces with Paul Morris and AM Only" said Chip Hooper, Head of Paradigm’s Music Division. "They are long time leaders in this genre and they represent their clients with class and integrity."

"This is a great fit for both of us," said Marty Diamond, Head of East Coast Music for Paradigm. "Paul Morris and AM Only represent tremendous artists and we believe this new partnership will have significant benefits for everyone."

"We have an extremely successful pattern of integrating cultures and businesses, allowing highly successful people to keep their strong identities and personnel intact and in every case this has led to substantial growth," said Sam Gores, Paradigm Chairman and CEO. – via CelebrityAccess
