Seth Godin To Keynote Rethink Music Conference

Seth GodinBest-selling author and entrepreneur Seth Godin will deliver the keynote address at the upcoming Rethink Music 2012 conference. Produced by Berklee College of Music and midem, the gathering will run April 22-24 in Boston, MA. Rethink Music offers workshops, presentations and panels focused on the the convergence of entertainment and technology.

Named Business Week's "Ultimate Entrepreneur for the Information Age," Seth Godin has penned 13 best-selling books and has been named as one of the top 21 speakers for the 21st century by Successful Meetings Magazine (Yes, that's a thing.) Godin writes about the post-industrial revolution, the way ideas spread, marketing, quitting, leadership and innovation. His other works include The Big Red Fez, Survival Is Not Enough, Free Prize Inside, All Marketers Are Liars, The Big Moo, Small is the New Big, and Meatball Sundae.

Other events at Rethink 2012 include the Hackers Weekend, hosted by music tech firm The Echo Nest. Hosted at Microsoft's New England Research & Development Center in Cambridge, MA, Hackers Weekend is intended for developers, designers, programmers, industry insiders and musicians to come together to create new applications across many different platforms. After the scheduled elevator pitches, in-depth workshops and the two-day hacks building, 3 winners will be selected on Sunday afternoon and will present their hacks to the attendees of the Rethink Music Conference, on Monday 23 April.
