Who Needs Profits? Live Nation & Pandora Reveal Executive Compensation
As the pages of the Wall Street Journal remind us daily, turning a profit has little to do with executive compensation. In recent SEC filings, Live Nation and Pandora shared what their top officers took home last year:

- CEO Michael Rapino – $11.9 million in 2011, down from $15.9 million in 2010
- Chairman Irving Azoff's compensation rose to $34.6 million from $22.8 million the previous year. $25.3 million of that came via his ownership interest in Front Line, the management company he sold to Live Nation.
- Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard – $4.1 million
- President of International Alan Ridgeway – $2.2 million
- General Counsel, Michael Rowles – $1.5 million
