Martin Atkins Has A Kickstarter Campaign & Why You Need To Give A Fuck

Martin Atkins has a Kickstarter campaign to fund his new book Band:Smart. I made a pledge, and you should too. Here's why: The "advice for musicians" space is overcrowded, and to filter out the crap, we need to support the people that have actually lived what it is they're trying to tell us. As a touring musician, indie label owner and longtime participant in rock's underbelly, Martin Atkins knows what the fuck he's talking about.

That Martin delivers his advice with a heavy dose of expletive laced humor, just makes him that much more special. His last book was titled "Welcome To The Music Business You're Fucked". If we each gave $1 for every time we've thought that and not said it, this book would be funded in seconds.

If you pledge any amount to the new project one "fuck"  will be inserted into Band:Smart. Martin's goal is to break the world record for uses of the word "fuck" in a book. Your name will also be added to a thank you section that will appear at the end of the book.
