CASE STUDY: Students Use Cyber PR, Next Big Sound & Topspin To Boost Dove Awards

has partnered with Ariel Hyatt of Ariel Publicity to create a Cyber PR course exploring the
intersection of social media with engaged behavior, PR, and online marketing. 
The Spring 2012 advanced section was tasked with designing, analyzing and implementing Cyber PR strategies
for The Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards in April of this year.

The class learned and used Next Big Sound’s Premier and
Topspin Media’s Plus applications alongside Cyber PR strategies to aid in their marketing and analysis. The results – which provide insights and lessons for all music marketers – are a detailed case study of the marketing plan and its resulting execution.
