After being kicked off the Google Play app marketplace for the second time last week, Grooveshark has launched a mobile HTML5 based mobile site that makes music-on-demand from the controversial service available on virtually any mobile device without any app or download. Apple's iTunes app store booted Grooveshark in August 2010.
Grooveshark is currently involved in litigation with Universal Music, and all four major label groups have been openly critical of the music streamers use of tracks they control. he new mobile site is: http://html5.grooveshark.com/
In today's announcement, Grooveshark promised "an international launch in the coming months". The service is currently only available in the U.S.
