Starting tomorrow 10/2, Spotify will be
available through Deutsche Telekom as part of the mobile company's first mobile phone
package including unlimited music streaming and exempt from data volume caps.
The launch marks the latest in a series of major telecom partnerships in Europe, including Telia (Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway), Virgin Media (the UK), Yoigo in Spain, SFR in France and KPN in the Netherlands.
Deutsche Telekom is launching packages bundled with Spotify Premium: The Special Complete Mobile Music tariff is available from 2nd October at either €29.95 per month, or €39.95 per month with a new Smartphone. Spotify will also be available as an add-on option for €9.95 for Deutsche Telekom’s land line and mobile customers later this year.
