Spotify Takes Over YouTube... For Today

image from www.hypebot.comAs part of Spotify's $10 million first-ever ad canpaign, the music streamer is running a one-day “takeover” ad today on YouTube’s homepage.

The YouTube campaign follows the band Phoenix for a day via an 18-minute documentary that will roll out in pieces throughout the day.

With new music streaming services from Apple, Google, Amazon and Beats' MOG-becomes-'Daisy' preparing for launch, Spotify is trying gain market share ahead of its many competitors.
