  1. I would also hope that a few recording artists plan to work with a distributor unless your only aiming to be the maker seller inventory in trunk and give your music away kind of participant. For the rest that want to be in digital and physical stores — There’s a time line that most of the distributors and retailers need along with a number of IP and meta/data needs and here’s a hint 90.60.30.1 and if you don’t have a plan for these then you need to get one or not.
