“We are extremely saddened to learn of the passing of Joel
Oberstein, who helped build Almighty Music Marketing from the ground up as
co-founder and President. Joel collaborated closely with our organization for
many years, and was a regular at our annual Music Biz conventions. We were
always delighted to see him at our events and to work with him and his
team to help reach the independent retail audience he was so passionate about.
Joel was truly a gentleman and our thoughts go out to his family and friends,
as well as Clark Benson, Vince Hans and the staff of Almighty Music Marketing,
who will carry his vision into the future.”
