Songkick’s Hardest Working Bands Of 2013 [INFOGRAPHIC]

Local-NativesToday Songkick announced their Hardest Working Bands of 2013 combining number of shows with distance traveled. Over the last 12 months they've seen a 15% increase in distance traveled by the larger acts as well as more countries visited on tour. Top honors go to LA's Local Natives (shown at left) who played 188 shows, visited 26 countries and traveled 192,486 kilometers which is around 119,605 miles or 5 laps of the earth. I'll leave that last stat unexamined but clearly musicians are hitting the road harder than ever.

Songkick's Hardest Working Bands Of 2013 revealed additional high points:

Foals played every continent this year except Antarctica.

Both Willie Nelson and Two Door Cinema Club have made the list for 3 years running with Willie playing an impressive 442 shows or one show every 2.4 days during that period.

This year boy bands made the list for the first time with One Direction and Justin Bieber putting in some work.
