NME has announced its 2014 award nominees.  As with other UK based honors, there's a bit more snark than we find in the states. As much as we might wish they did, can you imagine the Grammys having a category for worst band.  And then there's the sponsor, the city of Austin, Texes and the strange resulting name: “NME Awards with Austin, Texas”.
