Midem Announces Midemlab 2014 Winners

image from musically.comOn Monday, Midem announced the winners of three Innovation Factory competitions - Midemlab, Music Hack Day & Music Marketing - designed to encourage innovation in the music and music tech space. First up was Midem Lab which offered awards in several categories:

  • Music Discovery & Creation: Nagual Sounds (an interactive instrument)
  • Direct To Consumer Sales & Monetization: Weezic (augmented sheet music)
  • Marketing & Social Engagement: Starlize (music video creation app)
  • Vivendi "Coup de coeur" prize: Cubic.fm (crowd-sourced radio stations via Deezer and in November on Spotify)
