Spotify To Update Microsoft Windows 8 Phone App …Sometime Soon

It's a bit unusual to announce that an app update is coming sometime in the future, rather than just announcing the update itself.  But in the crowded streaming music sector, company's are looking for any reason top make an announcement. So Tuesday morning the Spotify headline read,  "We’re updating our Windows Phone app!" with the caveat further down the page that it would not come until come later this spring.

Along with a "brand new design" the Windows 8 phone update adds Radio, Browse and Discover features. Paid Premium users will get the update first, but it will be expanded to Spotify Free, as well.
