Lady Gaga Offers Post-Tragedy Career Advice At SXSW
It has become almost fashionable to dislike Lady Gaga, but Thursday at SXSW she showed why millions of "Little Monsters" realate to her. Using the previous night's tragedy which killed two and injured 2 dozen others, she delivered a hearfelt message including some career advice to an audience of musicians, artists and other creators. Her formal keynote of SXSW comes today, but here is the full text of last night's more informal speech:
It’s bland and not very original. And is it heartfelt or just trying to sell something? We don’t know anymore, now that everybody has sold out. Selling out means you say stuff that you don’t sincerely mean in order to make a quick buck.
She is so awesome. Unless you’ve watched her keynote, don’t comment on this. Seriously.
