So much for Pandora being hurt by iTunes Radio. The personalized online radio service announced new metrics today for March 2014, and total llistener hours were 1.71 billion, an increase of 14% from 1.49 billion during the same period last year.
More new stats:
- Share of total U.S. radio listening for Pandora in March 2014 was 9.11%, an increase from 8.05% at the same time last year.
- Active listeners were 75.3 million at the end of March 2014, an increase of 8% from 69.5 million during the same time period last year.
Pandora intends to discontinue its monthly disclosure of key audience metrics in June 2014, covering audience metrics for May 2014. The company's standard practice of providing listener metrics on a quarterly basis will continue unchanged.
