Music Tech Funding: Fever Nightlife App Nabs $3 Million, Netshow.me Raises Seed Round

Fever-screen-detailFever is a nightlife app (see screen detail at left) that's building a network of "Ambassadors" or tastemakers that recommend events in Europe and New York. Netshow.me is based in Brazil and provides live streaming for musicians with comparisons to Stageit. Fever recently announced a hefty round of what they're calling seed funding to the tune of $3 million from a group of investors. While Netshow.me raised an undisclosed round of funding apparently from a single investor.

 

Fever: $3 Million Seed Round

Fever is a nightlife app that is said to have launched in Europe 6 months ago and is now available for New York City.

They've got some interesting looking features for event organizers but you'll have to contact them directly to find out more about the possibilities.

Fever has a unique Ambassador Program that gives tastemakers free access to events and other perks in exchange for deploying their promotional abilities.

Investors in the announced $3 million round include Twitter/Foursquare investor Jeff Pulver, Flickr CEO Bernardo Hernandez, musician Alejandro Sanz and soccer star Sergio Ramos.

Netshow.me: Undisclosed Seed Round

Netshow.me is described as "Brazil’s Answer To StageIt." It's available in Portuguese, launched around 6 months ago and received an undisclosed seed round from Buscape co-founder Rodrigo Borges.

Netshow.me monetizes with a cut of tickets and tips that ranges from 28% to a hefty 48% "depending on the size of the band."
