SoundHound Launches Redesigned iOS & Android Apps
Audio search and recognition platform SoundHound today unveiled major design enhancements to its music app available today on both iOS and Android platforms. The new apps build on one of its major differentiating features – the ability to recognize music whether its hummed or the recorded version.
The new design features photo galleries, more relevant music videos and a listing of all albums where the song appears. The new results page experience also features more detailed biographies on discovered artists, one-tap access to their other top songs and videos and recommendations for exploring other artists similar in style and genre. Album information has been expanded and users can now see a more comprehensive array of reviews, full track listings and music previews.
LiveLyrics which displays synchronized lyrics while music is playing, and one of SoundHound’s most raved-about features, has been expanded to cover more songs.
