This false sense of entitlement plagues our society – and while there's a fine line between taking an opportunity and being taken advantage, you've got to learn to know where to pay your dues. Some of the best opportunities are the ones we never see coming – the ones that don't necessarily pay the bills at first but up their value ten-fold in experience down the road. Internships have that capacity – in most cases, you get what you give.
