Before SoundCloud Deal Died, Twitter Considered Acquiring Pandora and Spotify
Twitter certainly is on the hunt for a music strategy. We already knew they'd seriously considered buying SoundCloud. But now comes word that just months after closing #Music, Twitter also took a hard look at acquiring Spotify and Pandora. Each deal was “worth billions of dollars,” according to the Financial Times. which would have made either Twitter’s largest acquisition to date.
