PledgeMusic Artists Are Finding Success On Billboard Charts

image from upload.wikimedia.orgThis week's Billboard charts include new releases from more than a dozen PledgeMusic alumni. Until recently, crowdfunding and direct to fan campaigns were an alternative used mostly by newer unsigned artists. That's all changing, with musicans in all stages of their careers, from new gorups to established artist like the 10,000 Maniacs, using PledgeMusic and others to raise funds and to energize their fan base. In fact, many music marketers are starting to see these services as the very best way to launch a new release.

PledgeMusic's Billboard charting artists this week include:

  1. Its good, but most (if not all) have been promoted at some point by a bigger label. The interesting part is if a band fully on its own can accomplish these chartpositions on their own by D2F.
