Sidestage Expands to United States

Screen Shot 2014-11-02 at 9.04.51 PMSidestage, a Craigslist style online directory of freelance musicians, has expanded its reach and opened its doors to musicians across the United States. Previously based only in New York, London, and Berlin, Sidestage has seen significant growth among their users and wishes to expand their reach to a much broader audience. Providing up and coming musicians with a platform to advertise their services, Sidestage connects musicians for hire with everyday consumers.

Since Sidestage's inception in August, over 350 artists have signed up. They're geared primarily towards booking musicians for private parties, events, weddings, and other medium sized events. While their average gig generates under $1,000, Sidestage founders have seen encouraging growth and interest take place.

Users also have the ability to process credit card payments through the platform and are guaranteed a partial payment for each event, protecting artists from last minute cancellations. Consumers are able to browse the directory of musicians, view their profile, and instantly access their music, availability, rates, etc. all within the Sidestage platform.

For musicians trying to gain exposure, or for the wedding planner looking to hire the perfect musicians, Sidestage dual professional connectivity may be worth your time and consideration.
