SB logoFrom Google acquiring Bandpage to PledgeMusic's acquisition of  Noisetrade and Set.fm, direct to fan is undergoing a consolidation.  That may be bad news for investors, but its great news for artists and labels who will get more integrated, and likely more robust, services.

StageBloc has served as the direct-to-fan platform Metallica, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Keith Urban and others. Fullscreen is a youth directed media and marketing company with strong ties to top YouTube stars.

“With Fullscreen Direct, we continue our dedication to help organize and contextualize actionable data for creators, offering insights that help amass audience and revenue growth,” said Tom Giles, StageBloc co-founder. “Our products will offer Fullscreen creators, and artists at large, a simple and straightforward experience to cultivate their brands through media that they get to own and operate.”

No details of the acquisition were released, but StageBloc had previously raised just two rounds of debt financing totaling $610,00. StageBloc was launched in 2013 by co-founders Tom Giles, Josh Holat and JD Hartley, and will now operate out of Fullscreen’s Chicago offices.]
