I'm not quite sure if this is an "official" release, but this morning, Paul Lamere, the director of the developer platform for Spotify's The Echo Nest, tweeted the availability of "Organize Your Music."

The new tool is designed to help bring chaos to your oversized collection of music on Spotify and was created at a the The Science of Music Hackathon this weekend at Spotify's New York offices.

"Organize Your Music" places tracks in a one of four "bins" – genre, moods, decades and popularity.  Users can preview the songs in each bin and if they like it, save it as a Spotify playlist.  This tool could become particularly useful if additional filters, both data driven and user triggered, are added.

You can try "Organize Your Music" here.
