Instagram had added "Go LIVE With A Friend." Currently in beta, the new feature, which the company says will roll out to all users in the coming months, offers the ability to add a guest to a live stream.
While broadcasting, tap the new icon on the bottom right and tap “Add” to invite any user that is currently watching. Once they join, you’ll see the screen split into two. Other viewers can still like and comment, as they follow along.
Users can remove the guest and add someone else at any time, or the guest can exit on their own. When done, the live video can be saved and shared to Instagram Stories, or choose “Discard” and the live video will disappear.
