Bandcamp Launches App For Artists and Labels, Shares New Stats [VIDEO]

Bandcamp has launched a free app for artists and labels using the platform. The app offers real-time view of all play and sales stats, enables management and fulfill of merch, and lets users directly message fans with targeting by fan location and level of support.  It is available for both Android or iOS.

New Bandcamp Stats

Bandcamp says that they have paid artists at total of $249 million, including $5.9 million in the past 30 days. Founded in 2007, and profitable since 2012, Bandcamp says it now used be million artists and more than 3,000 labels. As of September, the platform hosted 2 million tracks and 4 million albums.
