Ingrooves Adds 5 In Marketing, Label Development

Ingrooves - newDigital music distributor Ingrooves has named five new hires to key positions in its Strategic Marketing and Label Development divisions.  "These new appointments are reflective of our ability to quickly augment our expertise in key growth areas for our business, namely the electronic, Latin and urban music genres," said Amy Dietz, General Manager of Ingrooves.

Alex Montes-Flores has been named Senior Manager, Latin Label Development. Based in Ingrooves' Los Angeles headquarters, Montes-Flores will oversee the company's Latin, Caribbean and Reggae label roster. The industry veteran was most recently Head of Sales & Marketing at Nacional Records.

Meka Udoh has been named Manager, Urban Marketing. In this new role, Udoh will work alongside Ingrooves account managers, label development managers and engagement team, bringing his deep musical expertise and long-standing industry relationships to the mix. A journalist and DJ, Udoh is the co-founder of the popular hip-hop website 2DopeBoyz. Udoh will be based in Ingrooves' New York City office.

Sheneza Mohammed has been named Label Development Manager. With a background in electronic dance music and label management that included stints with Moby, Pretty Lights and Bonobo, in addition to operating her own entertainment marketing business Goddess@Large, Mohammed will be based in Los Angeles overseeing a diverse roster of label partners.

Joshua Hedglin has been named Manager, Label and Business Development. Based in Ingrooves' Berlin office, Hedglin will oversee Ingrooves impressive roster of UK & European dance and electronic labels and will continue to bring in successful label partners. He has an extensive background in the genre, working at Beatport for many years.

Emmy Buckingham has been named Manager, Label and Business Development. Based in London, Emmy will oversee a diverse roster of Ingrooves' UK and European label partners. A respected independent music veteran, Buckingham previously worked at the AIM (Association of Independent Music).
