Famed publicist Lee Solters has accepted THE VON TRAPP CHILDREN as a new client.
Solters is best known as Frank Sinatra's publicist through the 60's and 70's. He has been Barbra Streisand's publicist for the last 30 years. He also did the publicity for the Beatles' first US tour in 1964.Mr Solters has also been the publicist for many successful Broadway plays, including the original runs of hits such as Jesus Christ, Superstar, Oliver!, Plaza Suite, The Sunshine Boys, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Hello Dolly, Pippin, The Elephant Man, and Big River.
Publicity activities will commence on their return to the US from an extensive Australina and New Seland Tour United States on September 20th. Their third CD is scheduled for a street date of September 21. Additionally, Christmas with The von Trapp Children will be re-released nationally for the fourth quarter.
Skyline Music is booking an extensive worldwide tour throughout 2004-2005.
