THE PRESS RELEASE: Madison House Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Flecktones band member and Grammy Award winning saxophonist Jeff Coffin to their eclectic management roster. Skyline Music will be joining on as Jeff’s new booking agency as Compass Records releases Jeff’s latest solo album Bloom on Feb 1, 2005.
Jeff Coffin has been a member of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones since 1997, astounding audiences nightly with blazing chops and melodic sensitivity. Jeff’s solo band, Mu’tet, is a funky ensemble influenced and inspired by New Orleans second line, Jazz, Indian and African music, yet creates musical sensibilities that will awe audiences just as Jeff has done in Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
The combination of Madison House management, Skyline Music as a booking agency and Compass Records all supporting Jeff’s solo career will allow Jeff Coffin and Mu’tet to truly expand their fan base. “We are proud to bring Jeff Coffin and his band the Mu'tet into the Madison House family,” said manager Christine Stauder.
