There's a lot to love about SXSW. Watching great music in good venues surrounded by smart people. But there are also a few things about SXSW that just drive me crazy.

1\. Artists who play entire sets without telling the audience who they are. Maybe band logos on drum kits need to be mandatory.

  
2\. Tech experts whose assumptions are based entirely on the belief that the average consumer has as much interest in the latest technology as they do.

3\. Trade show booths that expect me to be a detective to figure out what the company does. If you can't explain you value proposition in 8 words or less and put it on a banner, I keep walking.
