# 5 Days Left  For Artists to Update For Spotify Wrapped 2026

The countdown is officially on. With just five days left until the **November 6, 2026 deadline**, artists and their teams must finalize their assets for the **Spotify Wrapped 2026** campaign. 

[Spotify for Artists](https://www.hypebot.com/tag/spotify-for-artists/) has opened the portal and added powerful new tools designed to deepen direct-to-fan connections and drive post-campaign revenue. If you want to be featured properly in your top listeners' personalized data stories, you need to act immediately.

### **What Artists Need to Submit By November 6**

To maximize visibility during Spotify’s biggest viral marketing moment of the year, artists should upload two key pieces of video content through the Spotify for Artists desktop portal:

**2\. New for 2026: Live Performance Videos -** This year, Spotify is allowing artists to also upload full-length live performance videos. These videos have the chance to appear in a fan's "Your Top Songs" Wrapped playlist via a dedicated "Performances" chip.

- **Specs:** Full-length landscape video (MP4/MOV, under 20 minutes, 1080p+), with a custom thumbnail.
- **The Benefit:** Unlike the 30-second messages that disappear after the campaign, performance videos remain on your artist profile post-Wrapped and are eligible for ongoing royalties and charting.

### **Profile Housekeeping**

While you are in the portal submitting your videos, take 10 minutes to ensure your broader Spotify presence is optimized for the influx of Wrapped traffic:

- **Update Tour Dates:** Ensure your **Bandsintown** dates are synced so fans checking their Wrapped results know when you are playing near them.
- **Refresh Visuals & Bio:** Update your avatar, header image, and bio.
- **Pin Your Merch:** Feature your latest vinyl, CDs, or apparel via your Shopify integration.
