Facebook has kicked off a new Web page explaining how and why the social network depends on advertising. (CNet) and a new feature suggests events you may want to go to. (TechCrunch)
- Direct to fan platform Nimbit just added an optional tip jar to their free storefronts for Facebook and websites with some impressive initial results. 21% of all orders included a tip averaging $5. “We’ve found that even though some fans aren’t buying as much music, they still want to support artists,” according to company president Phil Antoniades.
